Provisionalización inmediata y mantenimiento de la estética dental: A propósito de un caso

Abstract

introduction: The use of immediate loading by placing a temporary crown immediately after insertion of the implant is a therapeutic alternative that facilitates aesthetics and enhances the psychological expectations of the patient . Objectives: To describe the surgical and prosthetic technique used to place 2 immediate post- extraction implants in the anterior maxillae. Case: The case shows the surgical procedure of placing implants for replacing teeth whose previous aesthetic was correct and integrated within the anterior sector, but whose viability was controversial . Sequence for surgical implant placement and restoration sequence for immediate replacement of such teeth is displayed. Finally, for the final restoration, two different abutments one titanium and other zirconia , both designed by CAD/CAM, will be used. Conclusions: Immediate loading is a reliable procedure in selected patients. Temporisation phase is important to get the right gingival morphology. CAD/CAM techniques allow obtaining abutments designed specifically for each location, with the dimensions obtained for the soft tissue.
