Abstract
Endodontic treatment does not end with a successful x-ray, it here begins a leading ad integrum of all structures affected by the disease restitution pulp and their waste products chain reaction. This is a review of the local and systemic factors; the histopathology of the periapical repair and the histological and clinical criteria of the success or failure of endodontic treatment.
