Abstract

In recent years a great effort has been made by many authors and companies to introduce into the market orthodontic treatments that improve the aesthetic aspect offered by traditional brackets. Undoubtedly, the increasing demand by the general public to reduce the visual impact of traditional orthodontic systems has had a great influence on this one of the most successful techniques are invisible aligners. Within the scope of this bibliographical revision we intend to analyse the advantages and disadvantages that presents the treatment of the dental malocclusions being treated with invisible aligners besides to make a small review of how the orthodontic has evolved until our days
