Aim: To assess and compare the relationship Antero-posterior of the upper central incisors with the front in patients who come into demand for orthodontic treatment in dental specialties clinic of the Faculty of Dentistry of the Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio (UAX). Materials and methods: The sample universe constituted it 415 records (teleradiography and profile in smile picture) that 240 of whom 135 were women and 105 men were finally used. Records entered into the computer program Nemoceph ® and subsequently carried out by hand all linear measures to determine the element II of Andrews. That is, the reference lines to measure the upper central incisor anteroposterior position as well as the inclination of the front. Results: Discarded any selection in relation to sex and age bias. The 36.7 sample presents the angled front. The 70.5 men and women 54.1 presents the incisor behind the reference line of the front (FALL). Conclusion: There is that the front is related with the degree of tilt and the distance of the upper incisor to the line that passes through the point FFA. The front is an important reference for the front of the upper central incisor position. The second element of Andrews is a tool that could be applied to our diagnostic decisions. To evaluate and compare the anteroposterior relationship of the maxillary central incisors to the forehead in patients presenting in demand for orthodontic treatment in the Faculty of Dentistry at the University Alfonso X el Sabio (UAX).
