Abstract

The goal of the present study is to describe the nonbony sustitutes available to improve and to acelerate the bone regeneration pointing us polilactide and poliglycolide acid polymers by its relative newness for this application. The results confirm the osteoconductive capacity of this sustitutes in the bone regeneration even thought they can also be a barrier on the osseous autoremodelation of the physiological process as they need long time to be reabsorbed.
