Abstract

In this paper we analyze the vision given by Allegretto Allegretti, agent at the service of the House of Austria, of the state of the Ottoman Empire and Moscow, places that he visited in 1650 and 1655-1656 by order of Philip IV and Ferdinand III respectively. To do this, we make a brief approach to the figure of Allegretto Allegretti, to then analyze the two relations of their embassies. With this, we intend to present a comparative overview of the two states, at a time when they were transforming their relationship with the European international order.
