Abstract
Vinasses have historically been considered an undesirable by-product of ethanol production , but given its high production rate (between 10: 1 and 15: 1 liter of residual vinasse are obtained per liter of ethanol produced from molasses) the alcohol industry tries to find an alternative that allows either reduce the volume of waste generated, or obtain a derivative of vinasse product that is attractive both economically and environmentally. For the present work, the stillage studied comes from the fermentation of tobacco Optimum adsorption conditions of such vinasse with different ash , obtained by calcining plant remains of tobacco and pine wood will be evaluated
