Abstract

The first antiterrorist law was promulgated in Spain 121 year ago. In this contry, as in the rest of Europe, the anarchists attacks were numerous. The Spanish legislator faced these terrorist attacks by using two legal instruments: the law about repression against crimes committed by explosives, of the year 1894, and afterwards, by the law of september 2nd 1896 about repression of the crimes against people and things that are committed or try to commit by explosives or inflammable matters.
