Abstract
Today it is very important to know how to design a highway noise barrier that is adapted to their environment and have the acoustic and structural features provided. This paper shows the design of an experimental system for measurements of the attenuation of road traffic noise. A wooden ocumen model allows to change the transversal section of the coronation of the barrier. To study the validity of the design, the measures have been taken at different heights, with different sections and its varying frequencies in the range of 63 to 5000 Hz
