Abstract
Where does our reflection on health come from? Reflection on our health does not have to come only from the area ofmedical sciences. Today more than ever, a close revision on the terms is necessary for effective doctor-patient communication. Therefore, we must consider that from the field of linguistic awareness we can contribute to a more real use of terrninology, thus enabling a faster and more effective knowledge of specific language leXis. This research develops a corpus Within the field of health sciences in order to help the implementation of manuals and activities that encourage the use of linguistic reflection in all educational stages.
