Résumé

Colorectal cancer is a leading cause of cancer death worldwide. Surgical resection and chemotherapy are the treatments of choice, however, the development of metastasis and chemotherapy resistance are the major causes of clinical failure in the treatment. Therefore, it is necessary the development of new biomarkers and therapeutic targets that can improve the prognosis and diagnosis of this disease. The Insulin Receptor Substrate- 4 (IRS-4) is a scaffold protein, with unique characteristics that make it different from the other family members and has an important role in promoting tumor growth. In this work, we analyze the involvement of IRS4 in CRC invasiveness.
