Abstract
The relationship that the artist Gregorio Prieto (Valdepeñas, Ciudad Real, 1897-1992) had with the Dominican friars in Oxford in the early forties of the twentieth century would bring about an important aesthetic and personal experience to better understand his subsequent artistic evolution . From this contact emerged an important drawing series and also arose a special relationship between Gregorio Prieto and the Order of Santo Domingo.
