Abstract
Along history we can observe a change regarding privacy which has accelerated in the last years. With the massive use of information technologies citizens won in comfort and communication possibilities. However by accumulating sensible data in systems outside their control has created new threats to the private life of individuals. The objective of this article is to analyse the threats to citizens and evaluate the mechanism that are available to help users recover their data giving as little as possible on the comforts offered by digital services.
