The intention of this bibliographical review is to evaluate the possible relation between the natural head position (NHP), the curvature of the cervical vertebrae and the different malocclusions (MO). The aim of this research is to find the cranium-cervicalfactors that can influence at the time of restoring a MO, or vice versa, what malocclusions can influence in the curvature of the cervical vertebrae and, consequently, with the position of the head and the rest of the body. We can state the possible relation of the different types of malocclusions and the variation in the curvature of the cervical vertebrae, in each patient, by orienting the head and the cervical column of its own postural system in the same plane; the sagittal plane, since it is a highly reproducible position, with a systematics of such a minimum error that it can be considered despicable.
