Abstract

There are a great number of different editions and formats of cómics these days. They cater to all possible tastes, from simple, conventional entertainment to ‘comic art’. Throughout childhood we are capable of understanding and integrating visual and textual languages, the use of vignettes, the use of speech bubbles, the use of different frames to give form to a story, etc; these are all part of the normal form of this medium (Garcia-Sanchez y Moral, 2004; Garcia-Sanchez, 2009). This chapter introduces us to learning methods of telling a story by means of the linking of images understood as frames that form part of a sequence (Bordes, 2017).
