Résumé

Due to the increased demand of aligners by dentists and customers and after the evaluation of problems which invol - ves long periods of time to resolve moderate crowding, the aligners have been studied to evaluate the effectiveness of predictability of teeth by different aligners. The aim of this study is to show first results to evaluate the predictability of a new aligner system in anteroposterior and vertical tooth movements. The sample consist in five subjects which have been eva - luated their incisors and canines of upper dental arches. It has been made comparatives using a 3D virtual system in order to evaluate the evolution after 3 months of treatment. After the analysis of movements, it has been found an effectiveness of predictability of 93,68% in the anteroposte - rior plane as a general mean and 94,95% in the vertical plane. Despite to not have a significant number of subjects, we can conclude that this new system can have a higher effec- tiveness in comparison of other systems. It has been found a 3,25 mm of movement in one subject of their upper cen- tral incisors in a 3 months period of time. We recommend posterior studies to obtain a better clinical validation of this new aligner system.
