The aim of this study was to evaluate the concordance between different cephalometric values, relating skeletal class values defined by the authors Rickets, Steiner and McNamara as well as the agreement between the values of facial biotype of Jarabak, Steiner and Ricketts. As for the skeletal class, the random sample of patients at the San Rafael Hospital consisted of 172 class I individuals, 187 class II individuals, and 40 class III individuals according to Steiner. According to Ricketts there were 252 class I skeletal 108 individuals of class II and 39 of class III. And according to Mcnamara the sample consisted of 112 individuals of class I for a class II 102 and for a class III 184. As for the facial biotype, Steiner classified in a dolichofacial pattern to 236 individuals for a mesofacial pattern 128 individuals and for a brachyfacial pattern to 35 individuals. For Ricketts the sample consisted of 188 dolicofacial individuals, 166 mesofacial individuals and 45 brachyfacial individuals. According to Jarabak, there were 111 dolicofacial patterns 153 mesofacial patterns and 135 brachyphacial patterns. The agreement with the kappa index was evaluated. The degree of agreement between the different values of the different cephalometrics relating to skeletal class and facial biotype is very low.
