Abstract

The social change to which we have been subjected in the last decades has promoted a profound change in beliefs from the sociological point of view. We understand it funda-mental to translate religious freedom and conscience into a factor of social cohesion, all from the educational field, by virtue of the adequate guarantees by the public powers to include an education based on the knowledge of religions as culture., in the knowledge of beliefs as a factor of social integration. Education would provide students with an equitable and deep understanding of the various religious and belief traditions, equipping them with the necessary instruments of understanding and judgment, channeling a comprehensive education based on social diversity.
